Opening a Bottle of Wine

Those fancy foreign wines are a lot more annoying than good Estonian wines with screwable corks.

How to Take Money Away From an Estonian Tourist

Photo by Mare Sabolotny. 20th of August in Brussels, Belgium.

Human-Dolls

No puppets, no sculptures - just real walking-talking-dancing human dolls. Do you understand the system? Photo by Aapo Ilves. Mooste, South-Estonia, 22. 08. 09.

Talharpa

I know that this blog called Estonian Style, but Finland is almoust Estonia too. Anyway, i took this photo in Mooste, South-Estonia, so let it be. Pekko Käppi, a jouhikko (strakharpa, talharpa, bowed harp etc) player and a singer from Tampere (Finland) & his instrument with cute skeleton-design. Etnopunk rules! Photo by Aapo Ilves. 22. 08. 09.

I knew it was a crime

DUKE
Yeah. I know. I'm guilty. I understand that. I knew it was a crime but I did it anyway. Shit,
why argue? I'm a fucking criminal.

HIGHWAY PATROLMAN
That's a strange attitude.

("Fear and Loathing")

Actually everybody listened in a humble way to the policeman's fatherly lecture about dangers of strong alcohol and broken glass.

O&O - Operators Outfit

Foto NAGI's: IMG_3284

On a hot or semi-hot summer day an operator should always wear something what distracts a subject off the camera. The above is a perfect sample of an operator outfit. Only thing which would top that, would be top-less or bare naked. But this example is more practical - bikini against the insects and rubber boots against the accidental swamps.

Primary School ABC

The main things in life gathered on a metallic plate. Knowledge donated by the boys in Junior High to the soon-to-be-teenagers in primary school so they as well would know some dirty words and listen to good music.

Nussini?

Will this chocolate lead to...?

Let's be more concrete! Every person shoud give this chocolate to their special someone with a questionable look on their face at the begging of a date. Save time and trouble.
Milka, if you ever start selling the product in Estonia, please, don't change the name.

(Nuss, nussimine = fucking; Nussini = (i.e lead) to fucking.)

National Sneakers

My own design: a pair of navy Converse sneakers and 4 metres of black ribbon. Green pants kind of ruin the effect so I advise something blue/black/white.

Punk's Not Dead

Some Tallinn punks took the time machine from 80ies and visited the Patarei prison by the sea. Juku-Kalle Raid, the famous provocative journalist and life artist, held his 35 b-day there. Photo by film maker and writer Kadri Kõusaar (IMDB), summer 2009
