Cool Glasses

It can be that Zavood is the best place to look for new looks in Tartu.

The reason is simple: people turning up are crazy enough not to give a shit what anybody thinks.

This kind of attitude produces gold in style. Enjoy.

Pink Doggy Style

Hello. I'm a pink doggy. Or should I say I am the pink doggy. This is my winter style. My winter doggy style. And here is my mistress with a pink baggy:

National Tennis Shoes

This is exactly what we're aiming for - modern urbanproof clothing, footwear and other stuff bearing national design. Applause! Hopefully the availability of those fashionable tennis shoes won't be limited just to the folks taking part in Estonian Song Festival.

Gimme a ticket to Moscow

"Gimme a ticket to Moscow. Please, I really need it, my friend has a première in MXAT. Yes, the theater. Come on, he's the member of the party and I am wearing this foreign nylon jacket my other friend got from Finland. Does you husband like Marlboro cigarettes? I have half a pack. Now, please, gimme the ticket."
This is how somebody would have fought for a ticket in Tallinn train station in 1982, wearing exactly the same outfit.

The king is half naked

Just to remind you that summer also comes... eventually. The guy in the picture is a king of Estonia. Yep, a king, because there are many. Also known as musician inBOIL. Richard Brautigan wrote a book about him. Oh, and when was the last time you saw a Nordic person without a mobile phone? Photo by Elo Kuuste, taken at Mütofest, 16 August 2008.

Estonian State Budget Style

What to do if economy in your country crashes? And, darn it, you happen to be the minister of finance? Well, you just pick up a blue pen and adjust the state budget. How about a cut of... 8 billion Estonian kroons (EEK, around half billion Euros). Well, at least minister Ivari Padar has sweet round handwriting.
Photo taken by one the leading Estonian paparazzis Andres Putting (freelance/Delfi) in February 2009 on a press conference of the Estonian government, Tallinn, Toompea.

What's the key for?

Chalet de la Pede

If you're male and if you just couldn't resist buying those Italian long boots, you probably should visit a nice little restaurant called Chalet de la Pede. It's on the outskirts of Brussels, Belgium. Photo by Mare Sabolotny, 31 January 2009.
